Debra Prescott Lankford

LANKFORD-Mrs. Debra Prescott Lankford, age 56, of Gaston, S.C., loving wife of Terry Lankford and daughter of Frances Pilot Prescott Williams and the late George Hailey Prescott, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 2, 2014. In addition to her husband, and mother, she is survived by her stepfather, Ralph Williams of Trenton, S. C.; brothers, Russell Prescott of Aiken, S.C., and Ronnie Prescott of Trenton, S.C. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Darlene Willis. She was born in Aiken County, S.C. but has been a resident of Gaston, S.C. for the past 30 years. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was a devoted wife, homemaker, sister and friend who shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during her short lifespan of 56 years. She has finished her journey and is now at peace with her maker. There will be no formal visitation with the family at the funeral home, and the graveside service and interment will be private.
