David Wayne Rhoden

RHODEN-Mr. David Wayne Rhoden, age 54, of Warrenville, S.C., son of Vera Smith Rhoden and the late David L. Rhoden, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 16, 2013. In addition to his mother, he is survived by sisters, Donna R. (Ricky) Sikes of Graniteville, S.C., Deborah R. Boyd of Warrenville, S.C; a brother, Keith (Tammy) Rhoden of Williston, S.C.; a niece, Amy (Keith) Black; nephews, Jason (Sarah) Rhoden, Jeffrey (Amanda) Rhoden, Michael Boyd; great nieces, Bethany and Sadie Gray; great nephews, Zackary & Hayden Rhoden. He was born in and was a lifetime resident of Aiken County, S.C. He detailed cars for Masters Cadillac-Chevrolet Dealership in Aiken, S.C. His hobbies included fishing, visiting the mountains, and yes, he was a diehard Carolina Gamecock fan. He really loved his family and friends. He was a real free hearted person who would help anyone in need; the family stated that he would literally give you the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it. Wayne, as he was so fondly known by his family and friends, will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched during his short time on earth; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his many friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Wednesday evening, June 19th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service celebrating his life will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home, Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Robert Skelton officiating. The interment will follow at the Warrenville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Clem Campbell, Jeffrey Rhoden, Jason Rhoden, Michael Boyd, Keith Black, Vaughn Hester, Earl “Bubba” Barwick and Steve Rickard.
