David Gideon Prickett

Mr. David Gideon Prickett, 71, entered into rest on Tuesday August 13, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Minnie Prickett; son, Chad Prickett; and sister, Margie Crane.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Susan Johann Prickett; son, Nick Prickett; daughter, Lisa (Joe) Furtick; brothers, Johnny Prickett, Tommy Prickett; sisters, Frances Joyner, Mary Owens, Patsy McClure; grandchildren, Hayden Lawson, Amaris Lawson, Carson Furtick; and beloved dog, Molly.

David was a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist church for over 20 years. He worked as a mechanic for the railroad for 35 years. David was a tinkerer, he enjoyed taking things apart and building them back together. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and scuba diving. He was always there for his family and loved to help them. He loved his wife and his family dearly. David will be remembered for being a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

A Memorial Service, celebrating his life will be held at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church in Windsor, S.C. on Saturday August 17, 2024, at 2 P.M. The family will receive friends at Napier Funeral Home Friday evening August 16, 2024 from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M.
