Danny D. Wilkins

WILKINS-Entered into rest on Monday, January 31, 2011, Mr. Danny D. Wilkins, age 65 of Warrenville, S.C., loving husband of Pamela Martin Wilkins. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters; Jennifer Turner of Waynesboro, Ga. and Shelby Wilkins of Hephzibah, Ga.; a stepdaughter, Dena Jones of Warrenville, S.C.; a son, Danny Dwayne Wilkins of Appling, Ga.; a stepson, Jason Jones and his wife, Ashley of Warrenville, S.C.; five grandchildren, Dalton Jones, McKenzie Bowen, Cody Turner, Gracie Skeens and Alexis Killinger. He was born in Louisville, Ga. but spent most of his life in Augusta, Ga. prior to relocating to Aiken County twelve years ago. He was a retired District Manager in the Circulation Dept. with the Augusta Chronicle. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather; and next to his deep love for his family and grandchildren, came his love for the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves. Needless to say, he shall be greatly missed by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched during the 65 years that God granted him on this earth. A service celebrating his life will be conducted on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Canipe officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight, Tuesday, February 1st from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main St., Graniteville, S.C. 29829. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to Napier Funeral Home to help assist with the funeral expenses.
