MOYER-Mr. Dale D. “Smokey” Moyer, age 51, of Warrenville, S.C., son of the late Heyward Moyer, Jr. and the late Gloria Koon Wall, entered into rest on Saturday, April 5, 2014. He is survived by sisters, Mary (Kenneth) Boyd of Aiken, S.C., Gloria Jean (Hamp) Gardner of Warrenville, S. C., Mickey Garvin of Charleston, S.C.; brothers, Larry Moyer and Laverne Moyer both of Gloverville, S.C. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Moyer. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a loving brother and friend with a big “Heart of Gold” as he would graciously help anyone who needed his help and would literally give you the “Shirt Off His Back”. He had a charming personality and could even make a comedian laugh. He always greeted everyone with a big smile. He shall be greatly missed by his family and many friends; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in everyone’s hearts. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Monday evening, April 7th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service celebrating his life will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Chris Williams and Rev. Chris Lowe officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Graniteville, S.C. The Pallbearers will be Cody Robins, Paul Kneece, Shannon Lowe, Chris Lowe, Brandon Lowe, Austin Redd, Brent Hiers and Ricky Dyches.
