Dale Davis

DAVIS-Dale Davis, age 59, of New Ellenton, S. C. son of the late John Paul Davis and the late Lillie Mae Williamson Davis, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 7, 2015. He is survived by sons, Michael Dale Davis of Barnwell, S.C. and Christopher Mark (Brittany) Davis of Wagener, S.C.; sisters, Paulette (Anthony) Shaw of New Ellenton, S.C. and Edna (Jackie) Kissiah of Aiken, S.C. a brother, Paul ( Claria) Davie and three grandchildren. He was born in Orangeburg, S.C. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. His family stated that he just loved to build things, and how fitting that he was a residential carpenter by trade. He was also an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed playing the guitar, which he did quite well. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was of the Baptist Faith. He shall be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched during his short lifespan; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his friends and love ones. He has finished life’s journey and is now at peace with his Maker, the Lord Jesus Christ. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to his memorial service, which will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 2:00 PM with Rev. William Eaves officiating. The interment will be private. Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
