Cozette Smith Roberson

December 31, 1969 — December 6, 2012

ROBERSON–Mrs. Cozette Smith Roberson, age 70, of Wrightsville, Georgia, formerly of Warrenville, S.C., loving wife of S. J. Roberson and daughter of the late Joe E. Smith and the late Odessa Gregg Smith, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, Ga. In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, Billy Joe (Sylvia) Grant, Keith (Amanda) Grant and Tim Grant all of Wrightsville, Ga.; sisters, Jeanette (Davis) Barton of Aiken, S.C., Joanne (Rufus) Conaway of North Augusta, S.C. and Mary Ellen Littleton of Grayson, Ga.; a brother, Dwight (Susan) Smith of Warrenville, S.C. and many grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom she loved very much. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lamar Smith and Jerry Dell Smith. She was born in Aiken County, S.C. and grew up in Warrenville and Gloverville, S.C. She was a member of Kendall Heights Church of God in Sandersville, Ga. She was a hard worker, a good wife and mother, whose world revolved around her children and grandchildren. She was a giving person with a great personality, which yielded her many friends. Yes, she shall be greatly missed by her family, friends and all whose lives she touched during the 70 precious years that God granted her on this earth; however, earth’s loss is truly Heaven’s gain. She is probably now shouting on the “Hills of Glory”. A service celebrating her life will be held on Sunday, December 9th at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Williford officiating. The interment will follow at the Warrenville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Gaige Bryan, Jesse Bryan, B.J. Grant, Johnny Woodcock, Keith Wells and Todd Wombler. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the hour of service. Memorials, in her honor, may be made to the funeral home to help offset the funeral expense. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main St., Graniteville, S. C. 29829 is in charge of the funeral arrangements. You can visit the online guest register at www.napierfuneralhomeinc.com.
