Collette Cook

COOK-Ms. Collette Mills Cook, age 60, of Graniteville, S.C., daughter of Myrtle Grice Mills and the late Ben Mills, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 2, 2014. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her ex-husband and friend, Glenn Cook; brothers, Gary Mills and Mark Mills; sisters, Glenda Turner and Cindy Mills. She was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was of the Methodist Faith. She was a loving daughter, sister and friend who shall be greatly missed by her family, friends and all whose lives she touched during the 60 precious years that God granted her on this earth. She has made that great transition to her new Heavenly home, where she will have a new body with no more pain nor sorrow. She has finished life’s journey and is at peace with her maker, the Lord Jesus Christ. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, Saturday, January 4th from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service, which will be held in the Chapel of Napier funeral home at 2:00 PM with Rev. Charles Wilson and Rev. Jeffery Taylor officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Todd Grice, Jeff Grice, Dale Lewis, Cliff Lewis, Austin Fields, Lawyne Wood, Michael Rogers, Clay Brown and Jeffery Taylor.
