NAPIER-Mr. Clarence E. Napier, age 81, of Warrenville, S.C., loving husband of Joyce Collins Napier and son of the late William Edward Napier and the late Annie Roberson Napier, entered into eternal rest on Friday evening, May 11, 2012. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons; Dr. Rocky Napier and Nathan Napier; stepsons, Ronnie (Evie) Duncan & Robbie (Pennye) Duncan; sisters-in-law, Dot Napier and Evelyn Napier; four grandchildren, Keri (Jeff) Biddle, Kristen (Jason) McCollum, Seth Duncan and Brooke Duncan; four great grandchildren and his special pet, Chipper Napier. He was preceded in death by brothers, Rev. Marvin Napier and Lewis Napier; sisters, Annie Wardell and Mildred Givens. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was a retired welder with DuPont. He was a member of Gloverville First Baptist Church. He and his wife, Joyce really enjoyed listening to Southern Gospel music. He also enjoyed playing golf with his brothers and nephews; but most of all, his greatest joy was taking family vacations. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening, May 14th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service celebrating his life will be held Tuesday, May 15th at 2:00 PM at Gloverville First Baptist Church in Gloverville with Rev. Jimmy Napier and Ronnie Duncan officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. The pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be John White, Joe Taylor, Harold Leopard, Jeff Biddle, Jason McCollum, Jason, Jonathan and Justin Napier, Ronnie Hobbs, Raymond James and Gordon Kneece.
