Christopher C. "Chris" Moseley

December 31, 1969 — April 17, 2011

MOSELEY-Christopher C. “Chris” Moseley, age 48 of Aiken, beloved husband of Lynn Hall Moseley and son of Gaye Burch of Orangeburg, S.C. and Edward Moseley of Aiken, S. C., entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 17, 2011. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his stepmother, Edith Moseley of Aiken, S. C.; his stepfather, Bill Burch of Orangeburg, S.C.; his mother-in-law, Miriam Hall of Gloverville, S.C.; a brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Toni Moseley of Aiken, S.C.; stepsister, Jamie Ann Burch of Orangeburg, S.C.; stepbrothers, Calvin Clamp and his wife, Gail of Aiken, S.C., Craig Clamp and his wife, Kathy of Columbia, S.C.; two granddaughters, Courtney Pettis of New Mexico and Paige Lain of Aiken, S.C. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Dana Lain and his father-in-law, Ray Hall. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was a retired supervisor with Westinghouse in Aiken. He was a member of Aiken First Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Yes, he was definitely an outdoorsman, and he loved spending time with his family and his pet cat, Kee. He was also a big NASCAR fan. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all whose lives that he has touched during the 48 years that God has granted him on this earth; however, life does not end with death as God has promised eternal life for those that believe on Him, and to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. A service celebrating his life will be held on Friday, April 22, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Langley Pentecostal Holiness Church in Langley, S.C. with Rev. Gene Brown officiating. The interment will follow at Southlawn Cemetery in Aiken, S. C. The pallbearers will be Calvin Clamp, Richard Kemp, Tim Fulmer,Craig Clamp, Gerald Goldman, Sammy Roberts and Wally Chapman. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening, April 21st from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Memorials, in Chris’s honor, may be made to the Langley Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2559 Augusta Rd., Langley, S.C. 29834. Mr. Moseley will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
