Charles Billy Kyzer

December 31, 1969 — April 20, 2012

KYZER-Mr. Charles “Billy” Kyzer, age 68, of Gloverville, S.C. loving husband for 44 years to Yvonne “Bonnie” Koon Kyzer and son of Esteen Carter Bailey and the late Cecil Monroe Kyzer, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 20, 2012. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by daughters and their spouses; Edie (Mickey) Green of Graniteville and Shannon (Derrick) Freeman of Warrenville; a stepbrother, Charlie (Diane) Jackson of Langley; granddaughters, Lauren, Summer, Taylor, Ashlyn and Jordyn and a very special sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Pat and Bud Cook. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Kyzer. Billy, as he was so fondly known by his family and friends, was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was of the Baptist Faith. He retired from Kimberly-Clark after over 30 years of dedicated service. He was a US Navy Veteran, and he was a mason. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather; having been known to his five granddaughters, who he loved unconditionally as “Grandar.” Next to his love for his granddaughters and his family came his love for the Atlanta Braves, his love for traveling with the “Sassy Seniors” and of course, Nascar; so, when the Braves and Nascar were on TV, you had best not get in front of the couch, where he was stretched out and block his view. Yes, “Billy Kyzer”, who never met a stranger, shall be greatly missed by his family and many friends; however, he shall live on forever in all of their hearts. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Sunday evening, April 22nd from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. A service celebrating his life will be held on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Herb Sons officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. His “K-C Buddies” and “Sassy Seniors” will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Memorials, in Billy’s honor, may be made to Bath First Baptist Soloman’s Project, P. O. Box 240, Bath, S.C. 29816. Napier Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Main St., Graniteville, S. C. 29829 is in charge of the funeral arrangements. You may visit our guest register by logging on to www.napierfuneralhomeinc.com.
