Charles "Eddie" Harris

HARRIS-Mr. Charles “Eddie” Harris, age 62, of Graniteville, S.C. entered into rest Wednesday, July 20, 2011. He was the son of the late Edward “Bo” Harris and the late Jeanne Thurmond Harris. He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Charlie Padgett; a brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Vicky Harris all of Graniteville, S.C. and a number of nieces and nephews. He was born in Warrenville, S.C. and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County. He was a US Air Force Veteran having served his country during the Vietnam War. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched during the 62 years that God granted him on this earth; however, his memories shall live on in their hearts. A graveside service celebrating his life will be held on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at the Graniteville Cemetery with Rev. Jody Padgett officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, the day of the service from 10:00 to 11:45 AM, at which time the possession will be leaving the funeral home for the graveside. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials, in Eddie’s honor, be made to the funeral home to assist with the funeral expenses. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main St., Graniteville, S.
