Charles Junior Greene

GREENE-Entered into rest on Wednesday, June 16, 2016, Mr. Charles Junior Greene, age 52 of Hephzibah, Georgia, son of Joann Moseley Hall of Aiken, S. C. and the late Charles A. Greene. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his stepfather, Ronnie M. Hall of Aiken, S. C.; sons, Phillip Jason Greene of Augusta, Ga.; a daughter, Candace Valen Cofer of Augusta, Ga.; a brother, Michael Cleve Greene of Georgia; sisters, Tina Rice Lattimore of Blythe, Ga. and Sandra Ann Wiggins of North Augusta, S. C.; a granddaughter, Misty Styburski and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Adrian Greene. He was born in and spent most of his life in Aiken County prior to relocating to Hephzibah, Ga. He was a member of Carpenters’ Union #283 in Augusta. He was an avid fisherman, who loved Nascar racing. He also had a deep love for his granddaughter. He shall be greatly missed by his family and friends and all whose lives he touched along the way. A celebration of his life service will be held on Monday, June 21st at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home. The interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Park on Highway 19 in Aiken, S. C. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the hour of service on Monday. A Charles J. Greene Memorial Fund has been set up at Wachovia Bank to assist with the funeral expenses. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main St., Graniteville, S. C. is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
