FANNING-Mr. Charles Milton Fanning, age 57, of Aiken, S.C., son of the late Charles Henry Fanning and the late Crystal Hyman Fanning, entered into rest on Tuesday, September 4, 2012. He is survived by his mother-in-law, Emmie Clark; a son, Aaron Fanning of Aiken; sisters, Ann Lewis of North Augusta and Debora (Tony) Friar of Johnston and a grandson, Taylor Fanning. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Marion Clark. He was born in Augusta, Ga. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. Up until his failing health, he had worked as a Security Guard for Sizemore Security Service. He shall be greatly missd by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched during his life here on earth; however, he shall live on forever in everyone’s hearts. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Christian Heritage Church in Graniteville with Rev. Stephen Phllips officiating. The interment will be private. Memorials, in Mr. Fanning’s honor, may be made to the funeral home to offset the funeral expenses.
