Mrs. Cathleen Elaine Drakeford, 79, entered into rest surrounded by her family on March 26, 2025.
She is preceded in death by her first husband Benny Padgett; her second husband, James Drakeford; and her parents.
She is survived by her sons, Phillip (Cheryl) Padgett, Jonathan (Rose) Padgett; daughter, Jennifer Drakeford (Larry Dean) Jones; grandchildren, Timothy Padgett, Tamela Padgett, Bryan Padgett; great grandchildren, Kayla Padgett, Alexis Padgett, Madison Padgett, Skyler Padgett; and great greatgrandchild, Ryker Bradley.
Cathleen was born in Long Beach, CA and has been a resident of Aiken County for many years. She was a member of Clearwater First Baptist Church. She loved her church and her Lord and savior Jesus. She enjoyed giving back to her community and worked with Helping Hands and the Good News Club for many years. More than anything she loved her family. She will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
A Funeral Service, celebrating her life, will be held at Clearwater First Baptist on Tuesday April 1, 2025 at 4 P.M. with Pastor Earl Carter to officiate. The burial will follow immediately at Warrenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday March 31, 2025 at Napier Funeral Home & Crematory from 5 P.M to 7 P.M.
Pallbearers will be: Stacy Hawkins, Johnny Scott, Cameron Gardner, Devin Bleachington, Kolten Bradely, and Jerry Morris.
