HALL-Ms. Catherine “Kitty†Beard Hall, age 86, of Warrenville, S. C., wife of the late Webster E. Hall and daughter of the late Oscar Beard and the late Mamie Johnson Beard, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 5, 2011. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Linda H. & Bradley Holmes of Aiken; a son and daughter-in-law, Webster “Buddy†Hall, Jr. and Barbara of Tampa, Florida; a brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Leroy and Sandra Beard of Warrenville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruby and Arthur Tinsley of Greenville, S.C., Betty and H. D. Lewis of Warrenville and Carolyn and Shirley Pittmann of Perryville, Missouri; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County. She retired from Graniteville Company. She was a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Graniteville. She was a member of the Graniteville Leisure Club and the Hardy’s Group. She had an unconditional love for her children; infact all children in general. She had a deep love for her church and community. Yes, you could say that Kitty, as she was so fondly known by her family and friends, was a well-rounded true “Southern Lady†with a big heart, as she loved everybody and always did what she could for everybody, not ever asking or expecting anything in return. She will surely be missed by all whose lives she touched during the 86 years that God granted her on this earth; however earth’s loss is truly Heaven’s gain. A service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Graniteville with Rev. Todd Sessions officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. The Deacons of the church will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening, December 7, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Memorials, in Kitty’s honor, may be made to Parents As Partners- Muscular Dystrophy, 2700 Middleburg Dr., Columbia, S.C. 29204. Ms. Hall will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main St., Graniteville, S.C. is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
