Carolyn Bragg

August 4, 1942 — February 2, 2025

Aiken

Carolyn Bragg, 82, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 2, 2025. She was surrounded by family when she passed due to complications from respiratory failure. She was born Cynthia “Carolyn” Settle on August 4, 1942 in Inman, SC. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother and a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Richard Bragg, along with her children Roger (wife, Sarah), Ronald (wife, Nancie) and Grandchildren Matthew (Casey), Savannah (Kyle), Tyler (Megan) and Ryan (Abby). She is also survived by sister, Mary Teal (husband, CE) and brother, Lewis Settle (wife Becky). She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Amanda Settle. Carolyn loved being involved in her Church, Town Creek Baptist, serving in the choir for many years, along with helping in the kitchen and preparing meals for those in need. She also enjoyed visiting with the school children at Town Creek and monitoring lunch periods.

Carolyn worked with her husband and sons at Bragg Heating in Aiken, which her husband started in 1970. She was the office manager and worked alongside family friend, Teresa Simmons, taking care of the office and employees. Carolyn loved pink, everything she wore and wanted to have, had to be pink. She always made sure everyone was taken care of and had food, she loved to cook. She made the best macaroni and cheese and chocolate chip cake in the world. In her spare time, she loved to spread God’s word by delivering bibles to those in need and filling “blessing boxes” around town with Richard.

Carolyn will be missed by her family, but her deep faith and love for Jesus Christ was always her biggest passion and she was a great disciple for Him when out and about meeting others. She loved to interact and talk with folks and always shared her love for Jesus. She is enjoying her peaceful eternal life with Him now.
