Carly Renee Whittle

WHITTLE-Miss Carly Renee Whittle, age 18, of Aiken, S.C., God's precious angel, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 4, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was such a special gift to all of us. We are grateful that He blessed our family with the honor of caring for her. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Her smile and laugh could light up a room. She was our "Diva" indeed, and we were blessed to be in her presence. She leaves behind to cherish her memory; her parents, Chris and Charlene Whittle of Aiken; a brother, Christopher Whittle of Aiken; grandparents, Ruth Anne and Tim Harley of Aiken, Rev. Larry Gregory of Graniteville and Emily Fulmer of Aiken; great grandparents, Rudy and Johanna Watson of Tallahassee, Florida and Harvey Fulmer of Aiken; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by grandparents; Neal Fulmer, Lila Ruth Harley, Nell Money, Leonard Gregory, Blondell Fulmer and her great aunt, Kathy Watson. The family will receive friends at Tim and Ruth Anne's home. The visitation will be at the funeral home this Tuesday evening, August 6th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Her home going service will be at Vaucluse United Methodist Church in Vaucluse, S.C. on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 3:33 PM with Rev. Larry Gregory, Rev. Lee Phillips and Rev. Cliff Binion officiating. Carly will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. The interment will follow the service at the Vaucluse Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Marc Gregory, Julian Harley, Gary Brimer, Chuck Wilson, Allen Wilson and Brett Marsh. Memorials, in Carly's honor, may be made to Vaucluse United Methodist Church, Box 19, Vaucluse, S.C. 29850 or to The Children's Hospital at Georgia Regents Medical Center, Augusta, Ga. 30912.
