Callie Goodwin Clemons

December 31, 1969 — June 11, 2011

CLEMONS-Ms. Callie Goodwin Clemons, age 49, of Gloverville, S. C., wife of the late Bobby Wayne Clemons and daughter of the late Ernest C. Goodwin, Sr. and the late Evelyn Mikell Key, entered into rest on Saturday, June 11, 2011. She is survived by sons, Bobby W. Clemons, Jr. and Stephen Clemons; a daughter, Evelyn Jones; a brother, Ernest C. Goodwin, Jr.; twelve grandchildren and a very special friend, Oliver “Charlie” Bennett all of Gloverville, S.C. She was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Mondy. She was born in Augusta, Ga. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was of the Holiness faith. She was a special mother, sister, grandmother and friend and shall be greatly missed by her family, friends and all whose lives she touched during the 49 years that God granted her on this earth. A service celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Williams and Rev. Floyd Hutto officiating. The interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Bath, S.C. The pallbearers will be Randy Spradley, Artie Jones, Terry Jones, Jamie Moyer, Cojack Goodwin and Gabe Hollows. Her son, Bobby Wayne Clemons, Jr. will serve as a Honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends at her brother’s (Ernest) residence in Gloverville or at the funeral home Monday evening, June 13th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
