C. Wayne Roof

Mr. Crawford Wayne Roof, age 79, beloved husband of Mrs. Ann Martin Roof, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday December 12, 2024.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Marty (Dawn) Roof, Matt (Sharon) Roof; brother, Dr. Dean Roof; grandchildren, McNeal (Breanna) Roof, Paige Roof, Patrick (Lauren) Roof, Shane Roof, and Branson Roof; and great grandchildren, Mason, Colton, and Luna Roof.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Crawford H. and Kathleen Roof.

Wayne retired from SRS and was the owner of Roof's Heating & Air in North Augusta, SC. He was a devoted Christian and faithful member of the Langley Church of God where he served many years as a Sunday School teacher, Church Clerk, Treasurer, and Councilman. He also had a deep love for Southern Gospel Music and sang with several gospel quartets throughout the years. If he wasn't spending time with his family, he could be found hunting, fishing, or watching westerns. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched. 

A funeral service honoring his life will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 2 pm at the Langley Church of God with Pastor Edward Hardee, Rev. George Webb, Rev. Richie Enlow, and Rev. Earl Carter officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Graniteville, SC. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening December 17, 2024, from 6-8 pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be Chester Enlow, Richie Enlow, Tracey Palmer, Larry Coleman, Wayne Holland, and George Webb.
