Bruce A. Herring

HERRING-Bruce Herring, age 72 of Graniteville, S.C., loving husband for 51 years to Emma Ruth Yonn Herring and son of the late Wilson Herring and Laura Allenwood Herring, entered into rest at Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center on Monday, May 16, 2016. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Rex A. (Cyndi) Herring; daughter, Laurie (Glenn) Rowe; and grandchildren, Andrew Thomas Herring, William Tyler Rowe, Mathew Glenn Rowe, and Callie Elizabeth Rowe. Mr. Herring has lived in the Graniteville area for the past 51 years after coming from Maine. He worked as a Carman with Norfolk Southern Railroad, and was a faithful member of the Graniteville First Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. Mr. Herring will be greatly missed by all of his, family, friends and all whose lives he touched over the 72 years that God granted him on this earth; however, death is not the end, and his memories will live on forever in the hearts of those whom he loved. A service, celebrating his life, will be held on Friday, May 20th, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Graniteville First Baptist Church with Rev. Todd Sessions Officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive friends this evening, Thursday May 19th, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Napier Funeral Home.
