Bobby Gerald Proctor

Graniteville, SC – Mr. Bobby Gerald Proctor, of Graniteville, SC died Wednesday, July 25, 2018.  Born May 21, 1928 in Girard, Ga., he was the son of the late Mr. Earnest and Christine Proctor of Howlandville, SC.

Mr. Proctor was married for fifty-three years to the late Annie Gregory of Graniteville, SC.  He is survived by his daughter Bobbie P. Hilton (Charles), granddaughter Rachel H. Turner (Neal), and great-granddaughter Lorelai Lilli Turner.  He was predeceased by a son Larry Gene Proctor, whose children are April P. Thompson (Morgan), their son Lane Blackwell, Trevor Thompson, Madalyn Thompson, and Kevin S. Proctor and his daughter Hailey Proctor.  Additional survivors include a brother Julian Proctor (Verna Mae), Howlandville, SC; a sister Ernestine Taylor (the late John) North Augusta, SC and the late Elton Proctor (Shelby) of Gloverville, SC.  He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 

Mr. Proctor worked for A & P Grocers as manager of the Meat Market for many years.  He loved camping, woodcrafts, and he and Ann made many friends during their years of travel.  He was an active member of First Baptist Church, Graniteville, SC. 

The family will receive friends at 10 AM prior to the service at 11 AM on Friday, July 27, 2018 at First Baptist Church Graniteville, SC with Rev. Todd Sessions officiating.  Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Langley SC.  Pallbearers will be

Gary Taylor, Robert Jones, Chris Proctor, Larry Harris, Buddy Friday, and Steve White.  Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Harvesters Sunday School Class, First Baptist, Graniteville.
