MOODY- Bobbie Pickens Moody, age 81, of Aiken, S.C., wife of the late Vernon Moody, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 2, 2014. She is survived by a daughter, Paula Padgett of Aiken, S.C.; a brother, Cecil Pickens of Atlanta, Ga.; three grandchildren; one great grandchild and a very close friend, Lorie Robinson of Aiken, S.C. She was born in Smyrna, Ga. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S. C. She was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during the 81 precious years that God granted her on this earth. She has finished life’s journey and is now at peace with her Maker. A service, celebrating her life, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home today, Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Clinton Jackson officiating. The entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Graniteville, S.C. Grandchildren and Craig Dominick will serve as Pallbearers.
