Billy Charles Stephens

Mr. Billy Charles "Pappy" Stephens, age 66, beloved husband of the late Donna Stephens, entered into rest on Thursday October 6, 2023.

He is survived by his son, Travis Stephens; brothers, Johnnie Stephens, Arthur Stephens, Gary "Butch" Engle; sister, Gail Campbell; grandchildren, Alicia Makinze Smith, Justin Alexander Stephens; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife he is preceded in death by his parents, Louie "Bill" "Grandpappy" Stephens also known as Suboe the Clown, and Mildred "Granny" Stephens; and sister, Jessie Carr.

Mr. Stephens was a retired mechanic for Valmet Paper Company and was a member of the Aiken Masonic Lodge # 156, where he served as a Worshipful Master for a year. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched. 

A memorial service with Masonic Rites will be held on Wednesday October 11, 2023 at 1 P.M. in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home. Rev. Ray Taylor to officiate. The family will greet friends at reception immediately following the service the Aiken Masonic Lodge 156: 443 Laurens St. NW Aiken, SC 29801.
