Billy H. Holley, Sr.

HOLLEY- Billy H. Holley, Sr., age 86, of Graniteville, S.C., loving husband for 63 years to Sybil Gibson Holley and son of the late Frank E. Holley and the late Marie Jordan Holley, entered into eternal rest at his residence on Tuesday, February 9, 2016. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters; Marie (Mark) Sturkie of Wagener, S.C. and Susan (Jeff) Spears of Augusta, Ga.; a son Billy H. (Kathy) Holley, Jr. of Graniteville, S.C.; eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jack E. Holley and a sister, Betty J. Moseley; a stepbrother, Alec Lang and his stepmother, LaRue Holley. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was a retired Supervisor with Graniteville Company. He was a US Navy Veteran. He was a member of Kalmia Hill Chapel in Aiken, S.C. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He shall be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched during the 86 years that granted him on this earth. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his family and loved ones. A memorial service, celebrating his life and home going will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 4:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his honor may be made to Kalmia Hill Chapel, P. O. Box 806, Aiken, S.C. 29802.
