Billy D. Barfield

Mr. Billy D. Barfield, age 73, entered into rest on Tuesday August 20, 2024 at his residence.

He is survived by his children, Dawn (Billy) Gresham, Nicole (Robbie) Till; grandchildren, Matthew Gresham, Tommy (Hope) Gresham, Emily Gresham, Ashly Till, Carson Till, Logan Till; great grandchildren, Abigail Gresham Davey Gresham, Huntlee Gresham, Anslee Gresham; sister, Brenda J. Smith; nieces Lisa (Ken) Johnson, Robin (Scott) Hunter, Telisa Owens; nephews, Daniel (Mitzi) Smith, Richard Grover; great nieces, Megan Yalacki, Morgan Hunter; great nephews, Brett (Kayla) Johnson, Caleb (Kelsey) Smith, Elijah Smith; and great - great nephew, Daniel Wade Smith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Billy A. and Betty Joyce Barfield; daughter, Tracey Barfield; sisters, Shirley Grover and Angela Owens.

Mr. Barfield was an avid fisherman, loving daddy, son, grandpa, brother and uncle. He will be deeply missed.

A funeral service honoring his life will be held on Saturday August 24, 2024 at 2pm in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Scott Hunter officiating. The interment will immediately follow at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening August 23, 2024 from 5-7pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be: Matthew Gresham, Tommy Gresham, Elijah Smith, Brett Johnson, Daniel Smith, Caleb Smith, Emily Gresham and Ashly Till.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Carson Till, Logan Till, Courtney Burton, Ryan and the "Remain At Home Healthcare" Staff.
