Billie June Amelung

Ms. Billie June Amelung, age 93, entered into rest on February 10, 2025.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Amelung; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Amelung; parents, John Albion and Pearl Mae Mauldin Albion.

Ms. Amelung lived a full, long life and was always considered by family members to be there "other mother" or "favored aunt". She was a member of the Eastern Star's. Ms. Amelung earned her business degree from Draughon School of Business and also pursued her teaching degree. She had a love for Sonic's Cherry Lime-Aide and always loved to have a good time. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.

A funeral service honoring her life will be held on Saturday March 1, 2025 in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home at 11am with Larry Quinn officiating. The interment will follow at Pineview Memorial Gardens in North Augusta. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be: Evan Merritt, John Albion, Jr., Bill Merritt, Kevin Byers and Larry Quinn.
