Beulah Kitchings Prescott

PRESCOTT-Mrs. Beulah Kitchings Prescott, age 87, of Trenton, S. C., wife of the late Luther Albert Prescott and daughter of the late Soloman and the late Nellie Kitchings, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ one day shy of her 88th birthday and on a very special holiday, Thanksgiving Day, November 22, 2012. She is survived by her son, James A. (Mary) Prescott of Trenton, S.C.; a gramddaughter, Angela Prescott Roton, great grandchildren, Cameron (April) Roton, Dakoda Prescott-Hawkins and two great-great grandchildren, Christopher Dudley and Isabella Roton. She was preceded in death by her precious friend and companion, Bruner Bright. She was born in Williston, S. C. on November 23, 1924 and until such time that she moved in with her son in Trenton, she was a resident of Gloverville, S.C. for over 60 years. She was retired from Graniteville Company. She was a member of Old Time Gospel Church in Eureka, S.C. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She shall be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched during the 87 (almost 88) years that God granted her on this earth; however, life does not end with death, as God has promised eternal life for all who believe on Him. She has just made that a transition to her new Heavenly home where there is no more pain or sorrow. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 25th after which time (2:00 PM) a celebration of her life service will be held in the Chapel with Rev. John Huff officiating. Her granddaughter, Angela Roton, will be delivering the eulogy. The interment will follow the service at the Graniteville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be her grandsons and Ralph Williams, Richie Harmon, Bryan Lusk and Billy Ray Hawkins, III.
