Betty Jo Hair Bishop Clark

CLARK–BETTY JO HAIR BISHOP CLARK of Warrenville SC age 85, entered into rest on Sunday, March 17, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Olin Singleton Hair and Mae Green Hair. She was the loving wife of the late John Oswald Bishop and the present Harold R Clark. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Glenda (Rodney) Huckabee and son Lloyd (Tracy) Bishop; four grandchildren, Jessie (Ashley) Bishop, Madison (Tim) Gibson, Joey (Kim) Huckabee and Jamie (Aaron) Deer; eight great grandchildren; Ethan and Brody Deer, Haven and Hudson Huckabee, Jaxson Gibson and Jess, Loralie and Luke Bishop, who all lovingly called her Moma-B or just B. She was a dedicated member of Gloverville First Baptist Church, where she had served as a prayer warrier, Sunday School teacher, church clerk, WMU, benevolence committee and volunteered to clean the church and much more over the years. She retired from Graniteville Mill, where she worked from the age of 16. She was the Matriarch of the family and loved by all who knew her. She will be missed, but we do not grieve like those who have no hope, for we can see her again in heaven. The family will receive friends this Tuesday evening, March 19th at Gloverville First Baptist from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service celebrating her life and home going will be held on Wednesday, March 20th at 4:00 PM at the church with Rev. Aaron Deer and Rev. Jimmy Napier officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Jessie Bishop, Joey Huckabee, Tim Gibson, Tommy Proctor, Ed Hair and Charles Hair.
