COOPER -Entered into rest on Monday, June 14, 2010, Mrs. Bernie-Jo Christopherson Cooper of Aiken, S. C., loving wife of David G. Cooper and daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frances Christopherson. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a stepson, Jason Cooper; a sister, Utahna Sheofsky; brothers, Jim Christopherson, Dan Christopherson and Bill Schmidt. She was born in Michigan but has lived in Edgefield and Aiken County for the past 20 years. She worked as a Judge’s Court Reporter in Georgia for a number of years. She really enjoyed singing and caring for her animals. She attended Bath Pentecostal Church and also Eastside Baptist in Couchton. She will be greatly missed by her family, many friends and all whose lives she touched with her singing and her bubbly personality. A memorial service will be held tonight, Thursday, June 17th at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Branch officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. If so desired, memorials, in her honor may be made to Parkinson’s Support Group, 2708 West Terrance Drive, Augusta, Ga. 30909.
