Arthur Lang Rule

Mr. Arthur Lang Rule, age 89, entered into rest on Saturday April 4th, 2020 at Augusta University Medical Center. 

He is survived by his daughters, Dee (Tom) Ferrara, Gina (Jason) Fonseca, Robin (Gary) Broome; special companion, Phyllis Powell; son’s in law, Jim Will, Sr., Nasser Daghaghleh; twenty-four grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Philpott Rule; daughters, Glenda Will, Susan Rule-Daghaghleh; and grandson, Jimmy Will, Jr.

Mr. Rule was a Wall Covering Installer by trade and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He will be greatly missed by his family and all whose lives he touched in the 89 precious years he had on earth. 

Due to the unprecedented circumstances and “gathering” restrictions surrounding the coronavirus outbreak, a private family graveside service will be held on Wednesday April 8th, 2020 at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery with Rev. David Hixon officiating. The interment will immediately follow.
