Arthur Jay Hasley Sr.

Mr. Arthur Jay Hasley Sr., 82, entered into rest on Thursday March 14, 2024 surrounded by his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Overton James and Margaret Irene Hasley; son, Arthur Jay Hasley Jr.; four brothers; and one sister.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Shirley Ann Hasley; sons, Joe Hasley, Michael Hasley, Gary (Sandra) Hasley, Lawrence Hasley, Michael Tallent, William (Brandy) Hasley, Chris (Teresa) Hasley; daughters, Rosa (Gary) Joslin, Paula Hasley, Lori Kibler; one brother; two sisters; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and great-great-great grandchildren.

Arthur was a longtime member of Christian Heritage Church, and worked most of his life as a mechanic. He served honorably in the United States Navy for three years. He enjoyed working on cars, woodworking, fishing, and hunting. More than anything he loved his family. He will be remembered for being a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

A Memorial Service, celebrating his life, will be held at the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday March 19, 2024 at 1 P.M. with Pastor Stephen Phillips to officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
