ANNIE DENNY RANDALL

December 31, 1969 — December 23, 2010

RANDALL- Mrs. Annie Denny Randall, age 92 of Aiken, S. C., wife of the late Willie E. Randall, Sr. and daughter of the late Virgil Q. Denny and the late Mary Spires Denny, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 23, 2010. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law; Patsy “Pat” and Richard Richardson, Betty and Gerald Owen all of Aiken, S.C., a sister, Catherine Queen of Youngstown, Ohio; four grandsons, Ken (Cathy) Richardson, Scott (Amelyn) Richardson, Gerry (Daphne Owen and Randy Owen; ten great grandchildren, Caitlin, Max, McKenna, Monica, Stacy, Zander, Chase and Maddox Richardson; Logan and Peyton Owen. She was preceded in death by a son, Edward Randall and two sisters, Helen Soaper and Bessie Denny. Up to her failing health, she was a dedicated member of Millbrook Baptist Church in Aiken, S.C. She was an avid gardener, who loved working with flowers of all kinds; but she especially enjoyed growing Orchids. She also had a knack for working with crafts, and if you could dream it, she could make it. She was a real quite, soft spoken “Southern Lady” who was always doing for others, even in the nursing home, she was as busy as a little bee caring for everyone. She loved her family and grandchildren and next to God, she always put them first in her life, and their love for her ran just as deep. Needless to say, she shall be greatly missed by her family, friends and all whose lives she touched during the 92 years that God granted her on this earth, but life for her has not ended; she has just made a transition to her eternal home and to be absent from the body is to be present with her Lord and Savior. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, December 27, 2010 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Tad Marshall and speaker, Tim Harley officiating. The interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Park. The pallbearers will be grandsons, Ken Richardson, Scott Richardson, Gerry Owen and Randy Owen; also, nephews, Tim Harley, David Harley, Julian Harley and Larry Harley. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Sunday evening, December 26th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Pepper Hill Nursing Home, to Gail Johnson and special friend, Paula Mitchell for all of the faithful, loving care shown their loved one during her illness. Along with their loved ones memories, each of you will have a special place in their hearts. Memorials may be made to the Alzeheimer’s Association, 3223 Sunset Blvd., Suite 100, West Columbia, S.C. 29169. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main St., Graniteville, S.C. 29829 is in charge of the funeral arrangements. To sign our guest registry, you can log on to www.napierfuneralhomeinc.com.
