JACKSON-Annie “Ann†Mildred Johnson Jackson, age 79, of Aiken, S.C., wife of the late Walter Robert Jackson and daughter of the late Huber Johnson and the late Lovie Laughinghouse Johnson, entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 5, 2014 after a courageous battle against Leukemia for over ten years. She is survived by a son, Wayne Jackson of Aiken, S.C.; a brother, Edward Johnson of Virginia; sisters, Pat Allen of Greenville, N.C. and Jewel Summerlin of Mt. Olive, N.C.; grandchildren, Cynthia Jackson and April Jackson; great grandchildren, Samantha Jones, Taylor Medlin, McKenzie Turner and Nathan Jones. She was born in North Carolina but has been a resident of Aiken County since 1953. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a very caring person, who always put her family and fellowman above her own needs. She would do anything she could to help anybody in need. She shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during the 79 precious years that God granted her on this earth; however, she shall live on forever in the hearts of her friends and loved ones.
