REDD-Mr. Alvin Kelly Redd, Jr. age 56, of North Augusta, S. C.. son of Lucille Altman Redd and the late Alvin Kelly Redd, Sr., entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 16, 2013. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his significant other of 19 years, Jean Fuller of North Augusta; sons, Chad (Melissa) Redd of Langley, John (Corey) Redd of Langley and Ricky Fuller of Orlando, Florida; a daughter, Susan Newsome of Lexington, S.C.; a sister, Phyllis (Frankie) Baughman of Aiken; a brother, Michael Redd of Langley; grandchildren, Madison Redd, Austin Satcher, Emma Redd and Chase Newsome. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was a Truck Driver for over 20 years for CVS Pharmacy, the North Augusta Warehouse in North Augusta, S.C. He was of the Baptist Faith. His family stated that he was a loving man with a big heart. He had an unconditional love for his family, especially his children and grandchildren; yes, his whole life revolved around them. A man with this much love for his family will surely be missed; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in their hearts. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 5:00 PM at the Vaucluse Cemetery in Vaucluse, S.C. with Rev. Cecil Goff officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Mike Redd, Brandon Redd, Ray Redd, Jr., Chase Newsome, Austin Satcher and Ed Fortunato will serve as pallbearers. Memorials, in his honor, may be made to the American Heart Association, 190 Knox Abbott Dr. Cayce, S. C. 29033 or to a charity of one’s choice.
