RANDALL-Alvie Randall, age 74, of Aiken, S.C., loving husband for 18 years to Elva Gunter Randall and son of the late Edgar C. Randall and the late Nellie Green Randall, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 15, 2015. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Teresa Cockrell of Ward, S.C., Rhonda Ricketson of Johnston, S.C. and Stephanie Morris of Monetta, S.C.; sons, Anthony W. Randall of Monetta, S.C. and Tommy Morris of Aiken, S.C.; sisters, Carrie Bell Randall of Batesburg, S.C., Edna Hill of Florida, Jeanette Deas of Aiken, S.C. and June Ready of Stiefeltown, S.C.; brothers, A. J. Randall and Kenneth Randall both of Trenton, S.C. and Donald Randall of North Carolina; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers, Wilbert Randall, Elbert Randall and Algie Randall; a sister, Lizzie Mae Bova; a daughter, Kathy L. Randall and a son, Dwight Morris. He was born in Windsor, S. C. and has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Aiken. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He shall be greatly missed by his family and all whose lives he touched during the 74 precious years that God granted him on this earth. He has finished life’s journey and is now at peace with his Maker, the Lord Jesus Christ in a land of endless tomorrows where all is joy and peace, and no sad goodbyes are ever spoken. A service, celebrating his life and home going, will be held at Bethel Baptist Church in Aiken on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Brancie Stephens officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral. The interment will follow the service at the Warrenville Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Billy Cockrell, Ryan Morris, Carl Morris, Sidney Tharp, Tony Rollins and Sherman Carpenter. The Honorary Pallbearers will be the Men’s Sunday School Class and Ken Jelliff, Brent Timmerman, Almon Baughman and Gary Halley. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the funeral home to assist with the expense of the funeral.
