Alice Jane Williams

December 31, 1969 — April 3, 2012

WILLIAMS-Mrs. Alice Jane Atkinson Williams, age 63, of North Augusta, S. C., beloved wife of Harold (Gene) Williams, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 3, 2012. She was born in Chapel Hill, N.C. to the late George and Georgia Lacock Atkinson. Her father once stated that she was the very best daughter, and her husband of 47 years was very quick to agree with that statement. In addition to her husband, Harold (Gene) Williams, she is survived by daughters, Geannie Coleman and Amanda Parrish; a son, John Michael Williams; sisters, Ann Forseth, Lorrie Hopkins and Hope Courtney; a brother, Preacher Bobby Atkinson; grandchildren, Cody, Trinity, Chris, Ivy, Lillie, Troy and Trevor and an aunt, Patricia Neville. She was preceded in death by brothers, Billly and Tommy Atkinson and a sister, Mary Jo Chevalier. Jane, as she was so fondly known by her family and friends, enjoyed spending time with her family, her work, and she enjoyed fishing. She was a dental assistant and ran a dental lab. She was of the Baptist Faith. She shall be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched; however, she shall live on forever in their hearts. A servicc celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Preacher Bobby Atkinson and Charlie Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Saturday evening from 4:00 PM until the hour of service.
