HICKS-Alice “Marie†Sellers Hicks, age 55, of Trenton, S.C., loving companion of William Power and daughter of the late Raymond and Alice Maylon Sellers, answered God’s call and went to be with Jesus on Friday, April 8, 2016. In addition to her devoted companion, she is survived by daughters, Kellie Sellers of Trenton, S.C., Stacy Sellers of Aiken, S.C. and Ashley Hicks of Beech Island, S.C.; brothers, Raymond (Kathy) Sellers of Lugoff, S.C. and Richard (Jennifer) Sellers of Aiken, S.C.; grandsons, Brantley Byars, Bill Hurt, Dylan Gregory, Tyler Gregory, Jacob Gregory and Nathan Gregory and a granddaughter, Cassidy Hurt. She was born in Aiken County, S.C. but has spent most of her life in Edgefield County. She was of the Pentecostal Faith. Up to her injuries in an auto accident, she worked as the Kitchen Manager at Pizza Central in Evans, Ga. The old saying “Shop Till You Drop†could have fit her perfectly, as the family stated that she could out shop the best of them. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during her short lifespan; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones. There is a consolation in knowing that she is in a better place. Heaven is sweeter with “Marie†there. A service, celebrating her life and home going, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 4:00 PM with her brother, Rev. Raymond Sellers officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. The interment will follow the service at the Graniteville Cemetery. Napier Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Main St., Graniteville, S.C. 29829 is in charge of the funeral arrangements. You can visit the online guest register at www.napierfuneralhomeinc.com
