CLEVELAND-Mrs. Alice White Cleveland, age 78, of Aiken, S.C., daughter of the late Wayne White and the late Annie Clark Carnes, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 22, 2013. She is survived by sons, Dennis Lee (Connie) Dyer of Aiken, S.C., Robert Dyer of Newberry, S.C.; a daughter, Theresa (Larry A.) Byrd of Franklin, N.C.; a stepson, John (Alice) Doolittle of Wagener, S.C.; brothers, Robert Clark of Cocoa Beach, Florida and Alvin Carnes of Pelion, S.C.; grandchildren, Stacey (Thomas) Johnson, Rebecca (Brad) Jay, Lori Kiser, Jacob Dyer, Twyla Barton, Brad Dyer, Robert Dyer, Jr., Tiffany Benward and Christy Easler; great grandchildren, Alston Meador, Abby Meador, Shelby Dyer, Brook Thomas, Kyle Thomas, Kelsey Thomas, Trey Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Thaxton Johnson, Evan Jay, Owen Jay, Joshua Kiser and Jeremiah Kiser. She was born in Anderson, S.C. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was a member of Bible Faith Holiness Church in Aiken. She was a wonderful Christian lady, mom, grandmother, sister and friend, who shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during the 78 precious years that God granted her on this earth; however, death is not the end, as God has promised eternal life for all who believe and trust in Him; and there is a consolation in knowing that she has just made that great transition to her new Heavenly home, where no more tears will be shed or sad goodbyes ever spoken. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Saturday evening, May 25th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service celebrating her life and home going will be held at Bible Faith Holiness Church on Highway One, North in Aiken, S.C. on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Eddie Moyer and Rev. Brad Jay officiating. She will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. The interment will follow the service at Kedron Baptist Church Cemetery on Wire Rd. in Aiken, S.C. The Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons: Jacob Dyer, Edward Dyer, Brad Dyer, Trey Johnson, Joshua Kiser and Tyler Johnson.
