Aiko Ueda Harris

Mrs. Aiko Ueda Harris, 90, entered into rest on Friday October 11, 2024 in Jacksonville, Florida.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Wayne Harris; parents, Uki and Saiyo Ueda; daughter, Linda Sue Harris; seven brothers; and one sister.

She is survived by her son, William (Donna) Harris; daughter, Sheryl (Travis) Proctor; seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Harris married the love of her life, Wayne, in 1955 and moved to the United States from Japan to build a life together. She retired as a seamstress at Aiken Industries. She loved her God and her savior Jesus Christ, the color purple, and her family. She will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend.

A Funeral Service, celebrating her life will be held at the chapel of Napier Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday October 19, 2024 at 1 P.M. The burial will follow immediately at The Historic Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
