Adelene Snelling Hite

Ms. Adelene Snelling Hite, age 100, beloved wife of the late Theodore "Dosie" Hite, passed away on Saturday January 11, 2025.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Joyce Willing Flowers (Gary), Dean Snelling (Rebecca), Larry Willing (Cathy), Mary Frances Snelling (the late Ron Albertelli), Randy Snelling (Wesley Cadle); sister's-in-law, Lorie Hite Storey, Roma Hite Jay; cousin and special friend, Linda Kay White.

In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her parents, Alvie and Ruby Snelling; siblings, Kenneth "Ken" Snelling (Betty), Alvie Snelling (Peggy), Minnie Willing (Lenwood) and Herbert Snelling (Buena).

Ms. Hite retired from the Graniteville Company where she worked as a payroll clerk. She will be dearly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Friday January 17, 2025 at 2pm in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Glen Davis officiating.
