Adele Albert "MawMaw" Davidson

DAVIDSON-Adele Albert Davidson, age 91, of North Augusta, S.C., daughter of the late Isaac Early Albert and the late Glyno Garrettson Albert, entered into eternal rest at her residence on Thursday, August 25, 2016. She is survived by a daughter, Cathy (Edward) Thuring of North Augusta, S.C.; sons, Ronald (Brenda) Davidson of St. Mary’s, FL. and John (Rene) Davidson of North Augusta, S.C.; five grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Arthur Davidson, Jr. and a grandson, Michael Davidson. She was born in Pulaski, Virginia. She was of the Independent Baptist Faith. She was a retired waitress with Woolworth’s Dept. Store with 19 years of service. She loved to read her bible and listen to BBN. She also enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune on TV. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during the 91 years precious years that God granted her on this earth. Death is not the end, as she has just made that great transition to her new Heavenly home, where all is joy and peace and no sad goodbyes are ever spoken in that land of endless tomorrows. A service, celebrating her life, will be held at Friendship Baptist Church in Belvedere, S.C. on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Heyward Horton officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Graniteville, S.C. The Pallbearers will be Ron Davidson, John Davidson, Chris Craft, Stephen Wall, Allen Cochran and Jeremy Daman. Eddie Thuring and Nathan Ellison will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Memorials, in her honor, may be made to Friendship Baptist Church, P O Box 6051, North Augusta, S.C. 29861. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Sunday evening, August 28th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
